International Relocations: What You Need to Consider
If one parent wishes to relocate his/her minor child to another country, the Court needs to assess additional factors, not always delineated in a statute or caselaw, to determine if the relocation is in the child's best interest. Those additional factors are not just geared toward examining the child's health and well-being, but also towards the law and legal relationship between the other country and the United States.
